Colorado Shooting

Most of you probably heard on the news about the shooting in the Colorado movie theater...  Last I heard, 12 people are dead and 59 were injured.  Please be in prayer for the victims, their families and everyone involved...

It's so hard to believe that our fellow human beings can rack such havoc and tragedy among humankind.  I just pray that God will be able to use this awful situation for good....

  1. He has a purpose for everything even when we can't see why. Sometimes that's hard to believe. I'll pray for this and that people can trust in God's timing. I heard about the shooting. When did this happen? Thanks for posting.

    1. Thanks for the comment Elizabeth. Yes, I am so glad God has a reason for letting things happen... of course the bad things that happen are are a result of sin, but God can graciously use our mistakes for good by turning our tragedies into a situation that will please Him...
Thanks so much for your prayer!
      It happened yesterday.

  2. Totally agree, Kara!
And sorry I haven't been on the BRC lately. I felt like it was taking too much time and I felt pulled to the computer. Basically whenever I read the Bible, I would be thinking of using the computer. I would easily get side tracked into checking my email and doing other things on the computer. I kept excluding more and more time for God. So I felt like to make "computer" and "Bible" seprate I needed to choose one or the other. So I chose the Bible. By doing so I knew I needed to quit the BRC. The Bible Reading Club is a great program but wasn't working out for me. I still might pop in occasionally. I know one of these days I would have to stop anyway because I'm getting kinda old for WZ. (: Anyhow, I thought I should explain. :)

    1. plus I was doing a seprate Read through the Bible in a year plan and so honestly I wasn't reading the BRC's passages. I answered the questions w/o reading and mainly used it to communicate w/ others.

Comments make my day! :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I often reply, so please check back!
